About the company

Wasted Grace Dance Theatre is a dance company based in Gravesend, Kent. WGDT believe that everyone can and should have the opportunity to engage in dance. The company are committed to promoting Contemporary Dance in Kent and are continually exploring new ways to enhance the viewing and participation of Contemporary Dance in the local and wider community.

History

I studied Dance at Bretton Hall College, University of Leeds and graduated achieving a first class BA honours degree. After graduating in 2006 I returned to my hometown in Kent where I found a distinct lack of opportunities in Contemporary Dance. North West Kent is particularly dry in terms of Contemporary Dance practice. In 2007 I established Wasted Grace Dance Theatre: a company to challenge the current outlook. Based in Gravesned, WGDT aim to promote professional and community dance practice within the local and wider community.
